Vinted Shoppers Voice Anger About Size Modifications
Shoppers are voicing their frustration following a change that caused listings displaying inaccurate size information.
The popular resale platform has revised its measurement guidelines for female and kids' apparel failing to inform all shoppers about the modification.

Numerous buyers and vendors are expressing on platforms saying Vinted listings now show a different size category versus the original listing because of the remapping.
The company said the updated approach better aligns with comparable marketplaces.
They have suggested members to examine their items and adjust the sizing manually when needed, resulting in member annoyance.
Size Classification Modifications
Previously, the measurements included a single numeric size and a letter, such as S/8 or M/10.
The revised method features a letter with a size spectrum for example S/UK 8-10.
In some cases, the size labels have been reassigned - for example a size L was formerly size 12 but is now a UK 16-18.

Frankie Bridger, who produces content about larger sizing, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling".
"Few clothing companies classify XL as 20-22," which is what Vinted now does.
Stephanie Gallen, based in Glasgow, said garments she listed on Vinted with size 14 labels were appearing on the platform as larger sizing 20-22.
"If buyers measuring 20-22 acquire them they may become frustrated," she said.
Required Changes
Another shopper, located in England, stated she felt frustrated due to the update requiring manual adjustment the measurements for "each individual item".
"For me this is particularly frustrating, as I'm chronically ill and Vinted sales have been crucial for me since losing part of my income," she stated.
Service Background
The platform boasts over 100 million members, comprising 18 million UK members.
It has become a favored option compared to resale services such as eBay and Depop.
This represents another occasion that an unexpected update within the service has received backlash: previously, Vinted reversed a change to its shipping options due to shopper criticism.
